TURBULENCE ABOVE THE CLOUDS

As aircraft ascend above the fluffy veil of clouds, flight engineers sometimes encounter a phenomenon known as turbulence. This can range from gentle bumpy rides to more intense jolts, caused various factors high in the atmosphere. Some of these include jet streams, weather systems, and even the wake turbulence left behind by larger aircraft. Unde
